Board Developments
The annual board meeting took place in October in Vienna during the ECA conference "Visual Inspection of Parenterals"

Guideline Developments
The group has published the revised  new version 5.0 of the Visual Inspection Guideline in October. In November a revision of the CCIT Position Paper has also been published. Both documents can be found in the members area of the ECA Visual Inspection Group.

Surveys
In August to September a survey took place to assess the current state of technology with regard to 100% visual inspection. The evaluation took place in November to December. The results will be published in early 2026 within the ECA Visual Inspection Group and in the ECA GMP Journal.
